Rothbury 2009

Rothbury version 2.0…send in the flood. Last year, Rothbury was a newcomer with a broad lineup with a plethora of indie rock treats to contrast the indie rap and requisite jam bands. This year the lineup is less broad and more focused.

Bob Dylan, The Dead, and Willie Nelson are headlining. That’s the focus. String Cheese will own one night as well.

Rothbury isn’t completely devoid of variety at all, however. The Hold Steady, Cold War Kids, Girl Talk, MSTRKRFT, Son Volt round things out beyond the jam bands, electronic jam bands, bluegrass bands, and folk that Rothbury is focusing on this year.
